American, likely early 1800s, classic primitive plantation desk in solid cherry wood, with drop down front/writing surface, enclosing a fitted interior with drawer and shelves and large drawer to the bottom. With wear commensurate with age and use, including ink stains to the desk surface. Overall good original condition with a lovely patina.
