Early 1900s, American, from the Globe Wernicke Co, Cincinnati OH. Rare Globe Wernicke stepback barrister bookcase, finish 299 (quarter sawed oak, deep rich finish, oxidized brass hardware). Eight pieces in total, including very rare E drawer base, rare E 13.5" stepback bookcase, two D 12.25" bookcases, two D 10.25” bookcases, one 8.5” bookcase with leaded glass, and top. All bookcase dimensions are interior height. E section has interior depth of 12", D sections are 9.5" deep. In overall very good condition, one glass pane has been replaced. Retains all of it’s original hardware and labels. Overall dimensions are below.
