Early 1900s, American, by the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati, OH. Very rare corner bookcase unit in the 3/4 size Art-Mission series, in the 598.5 style (solid mahogany, rich finish, brass hardware). Unique features include the ¾ size, double drawer bases, graduated bookcase sizes and mitered tops. 12 pieces in total, including the two drawer bases, two 12.25" bookcases, two 10.25" bookcases, four 8.5" bookcases, and two tops. Bookcase sizes are interior height, all bookcases have interior depth of 9.5". All pieces appear to be original to each other. Retains original glass, hardware, and finish. Overall in very good original condition. Bases retain their Globe Wernicke labels. Some light wear to the tops, and some finish loss to one case and two door fronts.
