Early 1900s, American, from the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. A rare matching triple stack in the 398 style (solid maple or birch, mahogany stain, with brass oxidized side bands). 21 pieces in total, starting from the bottom, including three combination leg bases, three 12.25" bookcases, three 10.25" bookcases, nine standard 8.5" bookcases, and three squared tops matching the base style. Bookcase measurements are interior height, all bookcases are 9.5" deep. These retain their original hardware, matching gold labels and finish. Side bands can be used to lock the bookcases to each other. Overall in very good to excellent condition, with some rippling to one top and one base leg with some wood repairs. Two of the glass panes have been replaced, and some variation in the coloring of the stain/finish.
