Early 1900s, American, from the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. Rare combination of sections, all D size, style 299, (quarter sawn oak with brass oxidized hardware.) Seven pieces in total, including base, one 10.25" bookcase, two 8.5" bookcases, drop down desk section, sliding door shelf section, and top. Bookcase dimensions are interior. In very good original condition with original finish, working lock and key to desk, and beautifully figured oak. Sections could be arranged in other configurations (shelf at bottom, etc.) Overall dimensions:
