A classic Globe Wernicke file cabinet, in the 298.5 style (solid quartersawn oak, lighter stain, brushed brass sidebands). 6 pieces in total, starting from the bottom, including one tall leg base, two check file sections, two vertical file sections and top. All sections include step back pieces to the top. Vertical file drawers suspend downward to allow hands free access to the drawer. Vertical file sections retain functioning lock system in great condition - when the middle drawer of each section is fully shut, all the other drawers will lock. Cabinet is in very good original condition, and includes original finish, pulls, and hardware. Typical wear to the top, and some repairs to legs after they were improperly repaired in the past.
