Early 1900s, American, from the Globe Wernicke Co, Cincinnati OH. Quartersawn oak sectional or stacking file cabinets and barrister bookcase combination, style 299 (quarter sawn oak, rich finish, brass oxidized hardware). Seven pieces total, starting from the bottom, including 1 base, 1 large sliding door cabinet section, 1 large file section, 1 narrow drawer section, 1 vertical file section, 1 barrister bookcase section, and 1 top. Bottom cabinet section includes original roller shelf inserts. Large file sections include hinged tilting drawer fronts. In overall very good to excellent condition. Some of the vertical file pulls may be period or modern replacements, two of the side bands likely replaced at some point, and some honest wear to the top. Dimensions below for overall piece.
