Mahogany sectional or stacking file cabinet, style 598/598.5 (solid mahogany with rich finish, brass and brass oxidized hardware). Six pieces total, starting from the bottom, including 1 step back fluted leg base, 2 flat file and file card combination sections, 1 standard size file section, 1 wide flat file section, and 1 top. Bottom file section has metal drawer construction, all other sections are wood construction. Standard size file section includes spring loaded paper holders and 2/3 of the original Globe Wernicke File System record keeping sheets. Side brass bands and label holders are a combination of the original brass and brass oxidized hardware. Top in excellent condition, but possibly factory original birch stained mahogany.
