Antique Globe Wernicke Mahogany Office Set with File Cabinets and Barrister Bookcase
Early 1900s, American, from the Globe/Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati OH. All pieces solid mahogany, the barrister bookcase and large file in the 598.5 style with matching brushed brass sidebands. Sectional, this is 12 pieces in total. The barrister bookcase includes leg base with drawer, one 10.25" bookcase, three 8.5" bookcases and top. Bookcase dimensions are interior height, all bookcases are 9.5" deep. The rare large double step back file cabinet includes leg base, one map file section, one standard file size section, one small drawer section, and top. Standard size file cabinet is one piece. Both files cabinets in excellent condition and include original pulls, finish, dividers, and GW Columbia hardware and covers. Barrister bookcase in good to very good condition, with some wear to the finish and bookcase bottoms, and base drawer bottom replaced at some point. Overall dimensions below for each piece.
