Early 1900s, American, by the Globe Wernicke Co., Cincinnati, OH. Very rare pair of 3/4 size Mission series matching bookcases, in the Mission 598.5 finish (solid mahogany, rich finish, brass hardware). Unique features include the size, leaded Mission glass top cases, and graduated bookcase sizes. 10 pieces in total, including two drawer bases, two 12.25" bookcases, two 10.25" bookcases, two 8.5" leaded glass bookcases, and two tops. Bookcase sizes are interior height, all bookcases have interior depth of 9.5". All pieces appear to be original to each other. Retains original glass, hardware, and finish. Overall in excellent original condition, including the top and backs. There are no Globe Wernicke makers marks, but I have no doubt it is from the Globe factories. These may have been a custom order or made by/for an employee of GW.
