Early 1900s, American, "Hale" from the Camden Cabinet Co., Camden NY. Rare early Hale bookcase in quartersawn oak, 5 pieces in total, including two drawer base, one 13" bookcase, one 9.25" bookcase stepping back to another 9.25" bookcase, and top. Includes pull out writing surface above middle bookcase. In very good condition with labels to the rear of each section. Unique combination of features in one bookcase include drawer base, large lower bookcase, pull out writing surface and stepback.
