The Library Bureau was founded by Melville Dewey (of the Dewey decimal system) in 1876 to provide supplies and equipment to libraries. This is a six piece sectional cabinet in solid mahogany, including one base, three deep flat file sections, one shallow flat file section, and one top. 30 drawers total, including 18 deep and 12 shallow. Deep draw interiors measure 34.75w x 22d x 1.25h. Shallow draw interiors measure 16.25w x 14d x 1.5h. This cabinet is in excellent original condition, including the brass capped feet to the base, original pulls, drawer dividers, finish and makers mark.
