Antique National Cabinet Letter File
Early 1900s, American, labeled as the National Cabinet Letter File, but likely made by Amberg Letter & File Co., NYC, NY. Quartersawn oak letter file cabinet, one piece case, with tambor door running the full length. 30 drawers in total, with two slide out work surfaces. Drawers retain their original spring loaded paper holders. Drawer interiors measure 12.25w x 11d x 3.25h. In overall very good to excellent condition, including completely functional tambor door, original hardware including brass label holders and escutcheon. Some fading/wear to the top and key is a functional replacement. Additional label is likely the original furniture seller, P.F. Pettibone & Co, Chicago IL.
