Early 1900s, American, from the Weis Manufacturing Co., Monroe MI. Rare complete stacking file cabinet, all in quartersawn oak. Nine pieces in total, starting from the bottom, including one base, one vertical file section, two letter file sections, one flat file section, one pigeon-hole drawer section, two vertical document file sections, and one top. All sections were professionally refinished at some point in the past. In light of the refinishing, the piece is in overall excellent condition, including original drawer hardware, pulls and label holders. Excellent figuring to the oak and wood in excellent condition. Letter file section stops are marked “Pat. June 5, 1912”.
